What is ILMEA?

ILMEA stands for the Illinois Music Education Association, a non-profit organization that advocates for music education in Illinois. There are 9 Districts that are represented in ILMEA. Centralia High School is in District 6.

What does ILMEA offer?

• District Festivals
• Future Music Educator Seminar (FMES)

Audition

ILMEA holds district and state festivals. Students audition across the state to participate in their district festival, and the top students from each district perform at the state festival in January. We hope you can be CHS's next ILMEA participant.
