Performing Arts Boosters
The CHS Performing Arts Boosters (PAB) are committed to supporting and promoting the CHS band, choir and drama programs and the students involved in the music program.
Parents/Guardians are encouraged to get involved with the PAB. Monthly meetings occur on the first Monday of each month (unless otherwise noted) at 5:30pm in the band room. There are many opportunities to support our students and the program!
The objectives of the PAB are to support the music program by:
- Encouraging meaningful learning experiences through an effective music program
- Assisting school personnel in any manner that is beneficial to the organization and to the learning of music by the students
- Improving communication between home and school so that parents, teachers, and administrators may cooperate intelligently in the musical development and training of the students

PAB Officer/Committee descriptions
All officers form the Executive Committee:
President- The president shall preside over all meetings of the Association and the Executive Committee; shall appoint standing committees along with the vice presidents; and shall perform such other duties as the office required.
Vice Presidents- A vice president shall preside in the absence of the president and shall serve as an aide to the president. The vice presidents will preside over specific Band, Choir, or Drama Club meetings; become members of subsequent committees; and appoint standing committees along with the president.
Secretary- The secretary shall keep the minutes of all meetings of association and their divisions; shall have custody of all books and records pertaining to the business of the association and their divisions except those of the treasurer; shall take care of all correspondence and notify each Committee chairman of his/her appointment.
Treasurers- The treasurers shall receive all monies of the band. (Choir director shall maintain Choir/Drama activity fund); shall keep an accurate record of receipts and expenditures; turn in a complete financial report to the Performing Arts Directors, itemizing every receipt and disbursement, on or before the 15th day of every month. The treasurer shall pay out local funds only as authorized by the Executive Committee of the Association; present a statement of account at every meeting of the Association and at other times when requested by the Executive Committee; is responsible for managing the student points fund and entering said points into CHARMS for each individual student. Information will be provided by fundraising chairs. The treasures accounts shall be audited annually.
The Head Chair is responsible for leading the Committee:
Uniform (band)- The Uniform Chair for the band will be responsible for coordinating and cleaning of the band marching and concert attire with the assistance of volunteers on the uniform committee.
Uniform (choir)- The Uniform Chair for choir will be responsible for coordinating the cleaning of the choir attire with the assistance of volunteers on the uniform committee.
Hospitality (2)- The Hospitality Chairs will be responsible for coordinating meals and refreshments for all Band and Choir functions that require a meal, snack, or public refreshments with the assistance of volunteers on the hospitality committee.
Equipment- The Equipment Chair will be responsible for coordinating transportation of the trailer(s) to competitions that require more than bus transportation.
Props- The Props Chair will be responsible for assisting the band director with building and transporting props on and off the field during performances with the assistance of volunteers.
Fundraising- The Fundraising Chair will be responsible for coordinating all fundraisers with assistance from volunteers and the Executive Committee.
